What's the difference between these expeditions and other adventure trips I find online?

Our expeditions are crafted as life-changing, tailored adventures—not just group trips. Preparation starts 3-6 months prior, including a personalized training program. We access remote locations that require special permits and expert guidance, ensuring a unique, unforgettable experience beyond the usual.
What level of fitness is required to join an Element X expedition?

Each expedition has a fitness level rating (1-5). Most are accessible if you can walk 5-10 km and follow our training plan. We assess your fitness beforehand and provide a tailored training schedule to help you prepare.
Do I need prior survival skills or experience for these expeditions?

While prior experience is helpful, it’s not mandatory. We provide extensive pre-departure training to equip you with the necessary skills for each journey.
What does the preparation phase involve, and how long is it?

Preparation typically starts 3-6 months before departure, including physical training, team-building, skill workshops, and expedition-specific guidance.
Are flights and travel insurance included in the expedition price?

Flights are usually not included, and travel insurance is required but must be arranged separately. We can advise on the best options for comprehensive coverage.
What kind of accommodation can I expect during an expedition?

Expect a range from tents, snow caves, and jungle shelters to basic hotels or yurts, depending on the adventure level. Each expedition description specifies accommodations for your comfort preference.
How is safety managed during these extreme expeditions?

Safety is our top priority. Our guides are certified Wilderness First Responders, and expeditions are equipped with essential safety gear and communication tools for remote environments.
What is the maximum group size, and who else will be on the expedition?

Groups are small, generally 6-12 people, to ensure a personalized experience. You’ll meet like-minded adventurers and connect during the preparation phase.
Can I join an expedition alone, or should I come with a partner or group?

Many participants join solo and build new connections. We also welcome pairs or small groups.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my trip?

Cancellation policies vary, but we aim to be flexible. Full policy details are available upon booking. We also recommend trip insurance to protect your investment.
