What a private group expedition looks like
For Weekend Drinks we built a micro expedition in the French Ardennes, for 17 participants. Not an existing trip with places to book, but a programme we set up from scratch for that one group: their own pace, their own level, their own goal.
The format it builds on is the Untamed Adventure Weekend: short, intensive and close to home. You do not need to take a week off to get something real out of it, and for many groups it is the first step towards a bigger expedition.
What is always included
Every private expedition is built from scratch. The foundation underneath is always the same.
Preparation programme
The full programme beforehand, from intake and group meeting to the final check before departure.
Technical training
The training that belongs to your terrain. Nobody leaves with skills they still have to learn.
Gear and logistics
Expedition gear, sleeping setup and all logistics on location. You bring your own clothing and boots.
Guidance and safety
An X Guide with experience in exactly that area. Our approach to safety does not change with the size of the group.
For company groups: KMO Portefeuille
If you work through a Flemish company, the leadership part of the programme qualifies for the KMO Portefeuille. Vlaio pays up to 30 percent of that training component.
